We all want a beautiful home but we also have to feel comfortable in it. That includes dealing with the dog’s dirty paws, the kids’ jammy fingers and the inevitable red wine spills. Our goal is finding that balance between beauty and practicality.

Whether you prefer a contemporary space or something more traditional, our process is the same — make it pretty and practical, beautiful and functional. Bringing together, in style, the old and the new, we will create a space that is unique and truly your own.

Living with a growing family in a stylish (yet small) North Toronto home, Kate knows firsthand how important it is to balance form and function.

That's why, with every job, she makes it her mission to service the client's practical needs without sacrificing style points. The result is a clean, uncomplicated aesthetic that is both easy to live in and easy to look at.
As principal of Kate Dickson Design, Kate brings 15 years of design, marketing and project management experience to the firm. She mastered the core fundamentals of design at George Brown College, where she obtained her Interior Decorating Certificate. Previously, she worked as a marketer and project manager for several high-profile corporations. That unique collection of expertise—design, marketing and project management—makes Kate Dickson Design a truly full service firm. Bottom lines are handled as adeptly as design lines. Her portfolio includes a number of residential projects in the Toronto and Collingwood areas.
Kate is a member of the Canadian Decorators Association (CDECA).
